After 4 years of living together, at a magical moment while we were on vacation in the mountains, the ring was delivered to me in a completely unexpected way. Although I have never worn rings because I have never appreciated them, I fell in love with the ring created by Eva Franceschini, an artisanal and unique ring inspired by Frank Gehry, corroborated by the fact that With Eva’s support, the shapes, material and processing were decided upon by my fiancé. This detail makes my ring even more special!

With the help of Google and searching for “handmade engagement rings”, after several disappointments, I came across the site of “Gli anelli di Eva”.

I have been attracted by originality and beauty of the photos of rings published on the website, different from the usual jewelry stereotypes. After several emails, despite the distance, I decided to visit the jewelry workshop, where I met Eva in person, who showed love and dedication to her work and has guided me well in every choice I have made about the “project” ring.

It was also an opportunity to dispel doubts about the veracity of what can be found on the web, where unfortunately unpleasant scams can occur regarding diamonds and engagement rings.

Having relied on Eva for the creation of the ring I was able to draw in person, a draft inspired by the forms of the Beekman Tower skyscraper designed by architect Frank Gehry, All of this is supported by professionalism and patience of Eva, He sent me rough drafts and suggestions in countless emails.

Ring inspired by Frank Gehry, handmade by Eva, unique and artisanal.

I was extremely satisfied with the final result; I finally think that the (non-financial) added value of having donated a ring inspired by Frank Gehry, which is handmade and unique, for which I was also able to write a chapter, is unparalleled. Such added value is certainly not to be found in purchasing a ring in a traditional jewelry store, even if it had a 10-carat diamond.

To conclude, I think that the use of a Ethical diamond it is a small but important gesture that completes the circle in respect of people and environments that would otherwise be exploited.
