The second reason, however, is a direct consequence of the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/anelli3.italix.org\/en\/ethical-diamonds-2\/\">Canadian Diamond Code of Conduct<\/a>\u201ca code of conduct that <strong>imposes a very short supply chain<\/strong> between the producer and the consumer, thus guaranteeing maximum transparency regarding both the quality and the prices of the diamonds purchased.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The same cannot certainly be said for the \u201cblood diamonds\u201d, extracted in conflict zones and guerrilla warfare, thanks to the exploitation of local resources and labor.
